QA Manager

This job description is for an internal QA role.

QA Manager

Proposed Start Date: April 28, 2018

Dodles is a cutting-edge social media platform built on patent-pending creativity tools for drawing, animation, and a collaborative marketplace. Users will be able to create illustrations, memes, animated characters, scenes, comics and eventually games through our app. Dodles already has an existing team of developers and needs YOU to expand our team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

We are looking for a QA Manager to help us with front-end usability testing, regression testing, system testing, and stress testing. We are looking for more of a generalist who can test on provided devices, enter in bug tickets reported by themselves or by users, and manage supporting material (videos, screenshots, steps to recreate, logs). The QA Manager will also be responsible for following up with users who have submitted bugs and getting more details as well as investigating bugs to gather reproduction steps for quicker patching by developers. The QA Manager will work directly with the Project Manager to prioritize issues against on-going development and new feature requests.

As the project grows, you may also grow to manage external communications with testing resources. We are especially looking for someone who can demonstrate a unique ability to think creatively about testing and discovering issues to provide the best experience for our users.
